Whether you decide on a full or partial denture, an impression of your mouth is taken to have a custom made denture to best fit your mouth. Once the denture arrives from the laboratory, chair side adjustments will need to be made by Dr. Malek to ensure a comfortable fit.
Just like your natural teeth, dentures still require daily home care, but the method is different. Instead of brushing them with your regular toothpaste, dentures must be removed, rinsed and scrubbed with a soft bristle toothbrush and a non-abrasive denture cleaner. Toothpaste is safe for natural teeth but can have ingredients that will wear away at the denture.
